Hi there! We’re Krista & Jerry, a husband-and-wife team of photographers who are passionate about capturing the beauty of life’s most precious moments.
We’ve been partners in life since 2003 and partners in photography since 2009, and we truly believe that being able to work together doing something we love is the greatest gift. Our journey began in Virginia, where we met at work and quickly discovered we made an amazing team. From the start, achieving goals together came naturally to us—whether it was personal or professional, we knew we had something special.
That bond led us to pursue degrees in photography at Antonelli Institute, where we were trained by incredible mentors who helped us sharpen our skills and prepare for our careers. And ever since, we’ve been dedicated to capturing the love stories, growing families, and unforgettable moments that make life so beautiful. We specialize in weddings and portraits, with a deep appreciation for all things love—whether it’s the excitement of your wedding day, the joy of your growing family, or the milestones you’ll cherish forever.
As photographers, we take a creative, photojournalistic approach to document your moments organically. Your love story, your wedding, your children—they are all works of art in their own right, and we treat them as such. We’re honored to be trusted with these memories and excited to capture them in a way that feels true to you.
Along the way, our work has been featured in amazing publications like BuzzFeed Weddings, OffBeat Bride, Shenandoah Valley Bride, and David’s Bridal—just to name a few. With both traditional and contemporary training under our belts, we’re thrilled to bring our passion and expertise to every session and wedding we shoot. We can’t wait to work with you and capture your most meaningful moments!
When you book a session or wedding with us, you’re not just hiring photographers—you’re gaining two friends who genuinely care about your story. We're here for you, whether it's answering questions about your wedding day or photo shoot, offering advice, or simply chatting over coffee. We want to be more than just vendors; we want to be the people you feel comfortable with, the ones who are excited to capture the moments that matter most to you. After all the shooting and printing is done, we’re the friends you can grab dinner or a drink with, celebrating the memories we’ve created together.
We don’t take the responsibility of capturing your moments lightly. We understand just how meaningful your wedding day is, how precious those family sessions are, and how important it is to have beautiful, quality art to display in your home. It’s not just about taking pictures—it’s about preserving the moments that define your life, and we’re honored to be the ones entrusted with that task.
Out of all the possible business ventures a couple could pursue, why photography? The answer is simple—it wasn’t really a choice at all. Photography chose us. It was a calling we both felt deep within, one we couldn’t ignore. While we explored other paths over the years, each time we’d try to settle into a more traditional career, we’d feel the pull of the camera, eager to capture the moments around us and evoke emotions in others through our work.
Every step of our journey has been filled with excitement, fear, self-doubt, growth, joy, and, above all, gratitude. The adventure has been as unpredictable as it has been rewarding, but we’re incredibly thankful to have found our place in this industry. What truly makes it special is the opportunity to work with so many amazing people, and we’re honored to capture the moments that mean the most to them.
A little more about us...
Important advice we were given as students and try to follow now is to keep boundaries between our work lives and our personal lives. We value a healthy work/life balance, and regularly carve out time in our lives for those wonderful joys that money cannot buy. Spending time with our family and friends is super important to us. Whenever we can, we enjoy hiking through the stunning and breathtaking Shenandoah Valley, which has so many incredible views and experiences to offer. Having spent almost a decade living in Philadelphia, we make time to regularly return to the city of brotherly love to visit our lovely friends and colleagues, enjoy date nights, and work with new and returning clients.
