Pivot!!!
Meeting Brittney and Josiah has certainly been one of our great gifts in life. A couple full of life, light, and spirit, they know how to enjoy every moment and live with love!
Our photographic journey began on the day of their engagement session, which just so happened to be a lovely, warm day in January. We had a plan to meet at Great Falls Park for a scenic and woodland themed engagement session. Unfortunately, the government was shut down at that point, and the state park had just been shut down as well. Luckily, we all had the same idea of arriving super early, so we had plenty of time to think of a plan B. The whole time, both Brittney and Josiah were pleasant, positive, and ready for anything! It didn't take us long to land on making the short drive to downtown Washington, D.C. for photos on the Georgetown Waterfront. From day one, we have been in awe of that positivity.
When we finally got to begin the photo session, our beautiful couple was all smiles! It was great to see them together, enjoying the excitement of their upcoming wedding. Witnessing happiness like this is so much fun! We had the best afternoon walking up and down the riverfront with these two, and we were a little bummed when it was over! The amazing session has us pumped for wedding day!
