This spring, we got to know the sweetest, most down to earth couple, and we are so glad they found us! Getting to know Heather and Jim through their planning process and working with them for their engagement session has been nothing short of amazing. We thoroughly loved hearing the story of how they met and came to be engaged, and we will love every single second of documenting the day they take the next step in their beautiful journey.
A cloudy but beautiful May morning found us enjoying the walking trails outside the Museum of the Shenandoah Valley. We enjoyed the scenery as we talked about the big day and Heather's gorgeous vision for her decor. We explored a very old and interesting tree and strolled around the picnic mounds that look like they could be the set of a sci-fi movie. After enjoing the trails, we moved our sesson to the walking mall in Old Town Winchester. A very special place for our couple, we grabbed our first photos under the Old Town sign. As two lovers of this historic and charming town, we totally get it and were happy to oblige! We used the walking mall as our path as we travelled to one of their favorite local spots, Vibrissa Beer. Seeing these two in their element on a place where they often go for date night was like a special glimpse into their life together, and we love that we could be there to take photos!
