From "I do" to baby-on-the-way -- The sweetest kind of full-circle 💕
One of the best parts of being a photographer? The people. If you’re lucky (and we definitely are), you get to work with clients who end up feeling more like friends. That’s been the case with Brooke and Josh — two people who stole our hearts from the very first meeting. It felt like we’d known them forever, and photographing them has been a total dream from day one.
So when Brooke reached out to share that they were expecting — and wanted us to capture their maternity session — you know I squealed. These two are so special to us, and we were over the moon to help document this next chapter in their love story.
We met on a sweltering Sunday in July at the gorgeous Hershey Gardens in Pennsylvania. It was the perfect halfway point for both of us, and honestly? A total fairytale setting. Brooke showed up like an absolute queen in a pink dress that suited her style and the scenery — and she powered through the heat like a champ. I was seriously impressed.
The gardens were full of everything I love: overflowing florals, massive storybook trees, and those dreamy open views that make you want to freeze time. It was such a joy to create in a space like that — and even more meaningful to do it with two people who mean so much to us.
Before wrapping up, we stopped at a villa overlooking Hershey Park — a sweet little throwback moment for Brooke and Josh. It’s where they spent the day before their wedding, shaking off nerves and just having fun together. Honestly? Genius. And full circle in the most beautiful way.
Their little one is already surrounded by so much love, and I feel so lucky to be part of their journey.
