Cake Time!!!
My very good friend Jamie is a powerhouse of a mom, a truly good friend, a beautiful human being, a great love to her fiance Josh, has the best sense of humor....she is literally the complete package. It's been an honor to photograph her family as they have grown, and it's been even more of an honor to be her friend. On this special day, we got together in her home to photograph her youngest son's first birthday for photos and a cake smash.
It was cold, icy, and my little Honda struggled a time or two getting there, but nothing was going to stop me from taking these photos! My house even lost power while I was charging my batteries and I had to operate on store boughts instead! It was all worth it in the end to photograph that sweet boy with all of his smiles and giggles, and to enjoy some of the delicious cake made by Jamie herself!
