I'd like to think it was sheer luck that led Danielle my way. The inquiry came through Wedding Wire and something about her just felt right, even though that limited communication. The more we talked, the more I felt that we were a good fit for each other. Our work spoke to her and she booked online, putting her complete trust in us. An honor we did not take lightly. Some months before the wedding, the couple was going to be in our town and wanted to meet in person. Travelling from Pittsburgh, we were thrilled to have Danielle and Christian visit our beautiful town of Winchester for an in-person meeting. It worked as a double win as they could visit the rest of their Frederick County vendors! We met at Broken Window Brewing Company where we enjoyed beers as we talked about the details of the wedding. By the end of all the chatting and getting to know each other, we were with our friends, not our clients. Danielle struck a personal cord with me when she told me that one of her deciding factors was when she saw how apparent our love for the LGBTQ+ community was, and I knew we were going to be a great match! We saw clearly the warm and welcoming hearts these two have and we couldn't wait to photograph them on such a special day.

We couldn't have asked for a prettier day when it finally arrived! Danielle welcomed me into her bridal suite while Jerry strolled around and photographed the lovely property. Valerie Hill Winery is absolutely beautiful! (If you are in the area and are looking for something great to do on the weekend, you should really check it out!) Danielle was a ball of sunshine as her bridesmaids helped her with her stunning gown and details. The morning seemed to go by in a blur and before we knew it, it was time to get married! The ceremony was so full of emotion, anyone could tell how much these two are meant to be together. We couldn't have been happier to photograph this perfect day and get to know this perfect couple!
