Sisters, Saddles & Sunlight: A Graduation Session on the Farm
The summer of 2023 gave us golden light, lush green landscapes, and the perfect reason to celebrate two truly exceptional young women. Teagan and Tanner—sisters, graduates, and lifelong equestrians—invited us into their world for a session that was as meaningful as it was beautiful.
Teagan had just graduated high school, and Tanner was fresh out of college. Each is on her own incredible path, but both share the same fierce drive, deep compassion, and unshakable love for animals—especially horses. It was only fitting that their graduation photos took place on the family farm, surrounded by the animals that have shaped their lives and the fields that feel like home.
But let me tell you—these two are so much more than just graduates. They are the kind of people who radiate warmth from the moment you meet them. Talented, intelligent, grounded, and gracious, Teagan and Tanner are not only pursuing careers in the equestrian world, they’re doing so with heart and purpose. You can tell that whatever they choose to do, they’ll bring kindness, confidence, and a whole lot of determination.
Their mom is equally amazing—welcoming, generous, and clearly the root of so much of the goodness these young women carry. Spending the day with this amazing family felt like being wrapped in sunshine. There’s a quiet strength in this family, a grace that comes through in both their interactions with each other and their deep connection to the animals they care for.
We spent the afternoon capturing laughter, sisterly love, and quiet moments between horse and rider, all with the soft summer breeze rolling through the fields. It was more than just a graduation shoot—it was a celebration of who they are and where they’re going.
Whatever the future holds for Teagan and Tanner, one thing’s for sure: the world is lucky to have them in it.
