Our summer wedding season kicked off early with Kelly and Jake’s hot and sunny wedding at West Oaks Farm Market! June weddings can be somewhat unpredictable, with the chance of a total washout or immense heat. Lucky for us, the weather could not have been more perfect! A little heat never hurt anyone, and our sweet couple are no strangers to it. Their engagement session brought alllll the summer heat and a little bit of thunder, but they nailed those photos just like they nailed their wedding photos. You can check that post out here!
We arrived at West Oaks Farm Market to find our couple having a blast with their wedding party and getting ready for the day to begin. The laughter carried through the air, and the super happy energy was contagious! There was so much to celebrate, and the bridesmaids and groomsmen were happy to oblige! We utilized the brilliant sunshine to capture detail photos and portraits before the ceremony began, and our couple looked absolutely amazing. Happy looked absolutely perfect on the both of them. I’m sure if you told the couple 8 years ago when they met at a party in college that one day they would celebrate their love with an incredibly beautiful wedding, they probably could not have imagined it. Fast forward to now, and they have grown into two hard working and successful people who make enriching the lives of others their life's work…what a perfect match! Their kind and loving energy radiates off then, and it’s easy to see the same exists in the company they keep. The entire day was full of connection and love, and absolutely amazing people. The tears and giggles were in abundant supply during the ceremony as all their loved ones witnessed the vows.
As the sun settled in the sky and the guests mingled, The Chatter played music that got literally EVERYONE going! It took two seconds to see why Kelly and Jake brought them here from Pennsylvania! The rest of the evening breezed by, and provided us with so much joy and so many moments to capture. By the time the sparkler exit was done, we were saying our bittersweet goodbyes. From start to finish, working with this super sweet couple has been such a joy. We will forever be grateful that Kelly and Jake walked into our lives and made us a part of their special day!
