Love in the Parque...
A long time ago, when I was living in Philly and trying to find my place in the creative world, I met a dear sweet friend who will always be SO special to me. In true Krista fashion, her family has become very special to me as well. When you come across good people, it’s hard to let them go, and that is exactly the case with Dominique’s family. A big family full of the most amazing people, it has been a real honor to be their friend and their photographer. Having captured portraits and weddings over the years, I was really grateful to be asked to photograph another wedding…the wedding of Dominique and Jamie. These two magnificent humans are paving their way towards their future as individuals and together and it is an incredibly amazing thing to behold. Driven and focused, they are knocking out goal after goal and I feel so lucky that we get to know them and document them during this transformative time in their lives. Their wedding is going to be the event of the year, just watch :)
For their engagement session, Dominique chose not only the perfect time of year but the perfect location. We met in the heart of springtime at Ridley Creek State Park, specifically hanging around the mansion better known as Parque. The mansion and gardens provided the most elegant backdrop for a couple who looked perfect in front of it. The flowers were blooming, the air was warm and fluffy, and the couple was beaming. They both looked amazing in the outfits they chose, these two are absolutely stunning! We couldn’t have asked for a better evening spent with two wonderful people like Dominique and Jamie. It was great hearing about what they are up to and how the planning for the wedding is going. We chased the sun as it disappeared behind us, and when the session was over I knew we had made some real magic. I can’t express how excited I am for their wedding! Until then, we have their stunning engagement session to gush over :)
