There is something truly special
in those quiet moments. Large gatherings, as wonderful as they are, have absolutely nothing on the quiet, slower pace of an engagement session. We first met Rhada and Gagan in the hustle and bustle of one of our favorite weddings to date. Rhada, a bridesmaid in this wedding had been sharing her warm and friendly energy with me all day, and I loved her immediately! Always ready to help, watch the photography magic happen, or cheer on her girl, she brought her genuine and uplifting energy to every moment of a very busy wedding. People like this make the world spin, I am absolutely convinced. As we weaved our way through a packed cocktail hour, we came upon Rhada and her fiancee, Gagan. Together they looked like they had been plucked out of a magazine and placed in the real world, beaming together! As we approached and chatted for a second, we found ourselves having a mini photo session with them, which poured over into the rest of the bridal party and made for a really fun time! We were definitely surrounded by a fantastic crowd of people with such vibrant energies, we couldn't NOT have a great time!
A short time after that wedding, we were contacted by Gagan. He and Rhada were in need of an engagement photo session and they couldn't think of anyone else they would rather call. SUCH a compliment! We were so excited to work with them again! We met them at their home before venturing out into the city to capture photos at a few awesome spots. Starting at the Fairmount Park Horticulture Center, we took advantage of the fluffy light and warm temperatures. Inside the Center, we had no idea it was January! We enjoyed the sun beams coming through the ceiling panels as they cut through the greenery and took advantage of all of the color pops and textures! Following the Horticulture Center, we made our way into Center City where we enjoyed a walk through Logan Circle. The rays of sun warmed us as we circled the fountain and talked about our favorite places to eat in the city. After enjoying the variety in backdrops and some really sweet moments, we made our way to the final location, a little spot close to their house (and hearts!) The sun disappeared on us, but the color and warmth never left our sides! Through the entire shoot, we got to know so much about these two amazing people who have such an interesting story to tell. Sometimes you look at two people and know they are meant for each other -- that their souls and energies coming together just makes perfect sense. That is completely the case with these two absolutely baller human beings who are already making this world a much better place.
